The location
The Finca Tres Halcones is situated between the towns of Santanyí and Cala Figuera. Immediately to the east lies the Mondragó nature reserve.
Santanyí (3 km)
Santanyí is located in the immediate vicinity of the Finca Tres Halcones. The city in the southeast of Majorca is one of the most beautiful places on the island and has defied Romans, Arabs and pirates over the centuries. The pretty town rises from the leafy surroundings with its gold-coloured sandstone facades and regularly attracts holidaymakers and locals to the colourful weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Around the Plaza Mayor, numerous cafés and restaurants offer a wide range of culinary options. The surrounding little alleys with their shops invite visitors to take a stroll.
Cala Figuera (900 m)
From the Finca you can walk to the tranquil fishing village of Cala Figuera. Even today, many residents still live off fishing and so Cala Figuera has remained very original. The bay runs deep inland in a y-shape. The dark green shutters and gates of the boathouses, the fresh greenery of the magnificent fig trees and the bright blue sea offer a colourful contrast. The very same trees have helped the bay to its name: Cala Figuera means fig bay.
Nature reserve Mondragó (500 m)
Living directly on the natural park: The Finca Tres Halcones is located next to the Mondragó nature reserve. In addition to two beautiful bays, the protected area includes the dunes behind Cala S’Amarador, the northern Cala Burgit as well as wetlands, cliffs and forests. For hikers, the nature reserve offers numerous routes.
